1930s mahogany fireplace mantel

We make Fireplaces from 1920s Art Deco fireplaces and classic Edwardian fireplace and mantel designs.

This original mahogany fireplace mantel probably dates from around the time of the start of second world war.
It's squarer lines are typical of the period.
The mantel does feature fluted solid mahogany mouldings forming its legs.
The condition of the mantel is only fair at the moment, but the price does include professional refinishing , so the buyer could decide the colour and level of finish to suit their home.
The marks to the feet and the mantel top would be invisibly repaired.
The mantel would have originally been fitted with a tiled fireplace panel.
