It is an Edwardian Original Mantel made from Pine wood and Gesso
It was been dated as 1906.
This beautiful Mantel is 'Adams Revival' Style which was very popular during this period. The style was characterised by light and elegant designs and was very popular with the expanding middle classes of the time and also the upper classes.

The Mantel comes in 2 pieces - this design allows the mantel to be moved and fitted easily
Top half measurements;height 52 inches, width at its widest point 68 inches.
Bottom half measurements; height 55 1/2 inches, width at its widest point 69 inches. The rebate is 2 inches with the max depth is 13 inches.
The opening has measurements; width 42 inches and height 38 1/2 inches
