This Blue Arched Fireplace Insert is typical of those that were made in the 1920s and 1930s.

Arched fireplace inserts were popular in the earlier Edwardian period but it was only in the 1920s that they began to be mass-produced. It was at this time that the more geometric lines of the 4 inch square tiles became the norm.

This fireplace insert is in a dark blue mottled tile and would likely have had matching tiles laid flush to the floor level.

It was made to be fitted together with a wooden mantel. We have a large selection to choose from.

We can also make a new one piece hearth to any size from complimentary new tiles or can supply loose tiles and separate fenders if required.
