Old Fireplace Inserts
Original Fireplace inserts from Edwardian to 1920s and 1930s Art Deco tiled classics.
We have a wide selection of reclaimed and restored original Fireplace Inserts.
This Blue Arched Fireplace Insert is typical of those that were made in the 1920s and 1930s.
Arched fireplace inserts were popular in the earlier Edwardian period but it was only in the 1920s that they began to be mass-produced. It was at this time that the more geometric lines of the 4 inch square tiles became the norm.
This fireplace insert is in a dark blue mottled tile and would likely have had matching tiles laid flush to the floor level.
It was made to be fitted together with a wooden mantel. We have a large selection to choose from.
We can also make a new one piece hearth to any size from complimentary new tiles or can supply loose tiles and separate fenders if required.
Fireplace Condition is Very Good

These gas fires are all convector fires and return hot air from the back of the fire into the room.
Keep you and your family safe with a Carbon Monoxide detector.
CO Alarms measure low levels of Carbon Monoxide providing an early warning of the build up of this toxic gas.
New legislation requires that a carbon monoxide detector is installed in the room for all new or replacement solid fuel appliances.
We make the largest range of hearths that you can find in the UK. They are all suitable for solid fuels or for use with a stove, gas or electric fire and with a bespoke service at no extra cost.
