An Art Deco tiled bedroom fireplace

An original Art Deco tiled fireplace dating from the 1920s.
The main body of the fireplace is made from pale blue 4 inch square tile and this sits well with the subtle gold tones in the central motif.
The detailed central motif is made from tile sticks in a geometric Art Deco style.
The raised central point is an unusual feature, probably specified to stop the fireplace getting too cluttered with ornamentation. The 1920s for many were a "chuck out your chintz" period where excessive ornamentation was abandoned.
This fireplace is in excellent condition and comes complete with its hearth and a fret (not shown)
